Donna Karan Spring Summer 2011 Collection

Donna Karan’s Spring Summer 2011 collection was acclaimed and received with warmth and applause. I think they were just being polite since Donna Karan is celebrating 25 years in the business. Diplomacy runs the world. Sincerity, however, flows through my veins. So let’s see what this collection was really made of! They say it’s a voyage – themed collection. I say it’s pretty lifeless and uninspired. The fabrics don’t flatter a woman’s body, especially with that severely tight cut. The colors could only compliment a darker complexionor a tanned skin. The only hit in all this undead sea of nude and frumpy silk misses were the evening gowns. Those were precious and lovely.
